Our principal, Gleason Corporation, has acquired the entire share capital of FUBRI Fabbrica Utensili Brianza s.r.l., based in Viganò, Italy. This acquisition further enhances Gleason’s product portfolio in gear cutting tools. You can read Gleason’s official press release about the acquisition here.
Through the acquisition, Gleason gains a HSS tool manufacturing unit in Europe – a significant logistical improvement. It will also improve the availability of hobs, especially for large modules.
